Regular Season Round 5: Kedainiai - Stekas 105-94

Bottom-rankedStekas (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to third ranked Kedainiai (4-1) 105-94 on Thursday evening. Kedainiai looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Rokas Uzas (202-1988) who scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Ignas Lukosius (202-1993) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Five Kedainiai players scored in double figures. American point guard Rahsaan Edwards (183, college: Florida Tech) produced 25 points and 8 assists and power forward Karolis Guscikas (206-1992, agency: BIG) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kedainiai keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Zalgiris II and Vilkaviskis. Loser Stekas still closes the standings with four games lost.
