There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedStekas (2-4) won against higher ranked Silute (3-4) in Vilnius 98-90 on Thursday. Strangely Silute outrebounded Stekas 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Rahsaan Edwards (183, college: Florida Tech) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 9 assists. Robert Subotkevic (203-1998) accounted for 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Stekas' coach used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Power forward Norbertas Giga (208-1995, college: Jax State) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and American swingman Devin Hutchinson (196-1996, college: Radford) added 19 points respectively for Silute in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Stekas moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Silute dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Mazeikiai.
