Regular Season Round 4: VKKM - SKM II 70-100

Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Vilniaus:SKM II (#6) and VKKM (#7). VKKM was smashed at home by 30 points 70-100 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by SKM II. VKKM managed to win second period 17-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SKM II dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to VKKM 's 40. SKM II had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by who scored that evening 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and supported him with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five SKM II players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 4 assists by Justas Juskevicius did not help to save the game for VKKM . Miron Zakrevskij added 13 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SKM II maintains sixth position with 2-2 record, which they share with defeated VKKM.
