There was a minor upset in Kaunas where 6th rankedPerkunas (3-3) was crushed by eighth ranked VKM-2 (2-4) 101-82 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by VKM-2. Perkunas managed to win second period 22-21 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. VKM-2 made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 27 Perkunas turnovers. VKM-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Matas Mikenas who scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Lukas Cijunaitis chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. VKM-2's coach Rolandas Penikas used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Vytis Sliogeris produced 21 points and 9 assists and Jonas Satas added 21 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five VKM-2 and four Perkunas players scored in double figures. VKM-2 maintains eighth place with 2-4 record. Loser Perkunas keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with SKM II.
