No shocking result in a game when third rankedTelsiai (8-3) defeated at home 11th ranked Kretinga (4-7) 86-80 on Thursday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Worth to mention a great performance of Tomas Balciunas (204-2000, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and Deividas Rasys who added 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Mantvydas Staniulis (186-1997) scored 13 points and 8 assists. Four Kretinga players scored in double figures. Telsiai have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Kretinga dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. They share it with Silute.
