There was a minor upset when 8th rankedVilkaviskis (6-5) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Jurbarkas (6-5) 87-78 on Thursday. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Karolis Guscikas (206-1992, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Gintautas Matulis who added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Jurbarkas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center Gabe Quillan (206-2002, college: Hope) with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Gustas Kucinskas scored 18 points. Vilkaviskis' coach Sarunas Zablockis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jurbarkas moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Vilkaviskis . Vilkaviskis lost fourth consecutive game.
