There was a minor upset in Vilniaus where 8th rankedVKM-2 (2-4) was edged by tenth ranked NKA (1-4) 83-82 on Sunday. VKM-2 was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 25-21 charge of NKA, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Orestas Buntis who scored 28 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Tomas Ciuplys chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds. NKA's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Bernardas Novoselskij produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Lukas Cijunaitis added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Four VKM-2 players scored in double figures. NKA left bottom position moving up to ninth place. Loser VKM-2 keeps the eighth position with four games lost.
