We should mention about the upset which took place in Klaipeda, where higher rankedNeptunas-Akv. (6-8) was outleveled at home by sixteenth ranked P.Olimpas (4-10) 90-66 on Saturday. P.Olimpas dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas-Akv. 's 20. They outrebounded Neptunas-Akv. 43-28 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. P.Olimpas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for center Tadas Budrys (205-2002) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists. American Colin Golson Jr (196-2000, college: WSU) helped adding 29 points. Golson Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five P.Olimpas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Dziugas Remeikis (190-2006) with 18 points and point guard Rytis Sakaitis (193-2004) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. P.Olimpas moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Stekas. Neptunas-Akv. lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Silute and Kretinga.
