The most surprising game was another loss of top-rankedKedainiai (11-3) in Kedainiu on Thursday night. Hosts were rolled over by ninth ranked Vilkaviskis (8-7) 95-74 . Vilkaviskis forced 26 Kedainiai turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard TJ Gadsden (199-2002, college: Hofstra) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 steals. Swingman Titas Pazarauskas (191-2003) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Vilkaviskis players scored in double figures. Medas Kuprijanovas (197-1996) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and added 10 points and 6 assists in the effort for Kedainiai. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vilkaviskis moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Omega-Tauras and Jurbarkas. Kedainiai at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost.
