There was no surprise when 14th rankedPalanga (5-10) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Kretinga (7-8) 85-75 on Thursday. Kretinga looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Palanga 's players. The winners were led by Julius Kazakauskas who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Mantvydas Staniulis (186-1997) supported him with 16 points and 9 assists. Four Kretinga players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by center Augustinas Mikstas (203-2001) did not help to save the game for Palanga . Power forward Antanas Udras (203-1992, agency: BIG) added 12 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Palanga's coach Erikas Kubilius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kretinga moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Rytas 2. Loser Palanga keeps the fourteenth position with ten games lost.
