Very expected game when 12th rankedSilute (8-10) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Vilkaviskis (10-7) 88-83 on Thursday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American guard TJ Gadsden (199-2002, college: Hofstra) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Mantvydas Zukauskas chipped in 16 points during the contest. Vilkaviskis' coach Sarunas Zablockis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Lukas Kazlauskas (188-1992) with 13 points and 6 assists and guard Nojus Jankunas (194-2001) scored 18 points. Four Vilkaviskis and five Silute players scored in double figures. Vilkaviskis have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Loser Silute keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost.
