Moteru Lyga top team -Kibirkstis (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Aistes-LSMU (2-4) in Kaunas 86-45 . Kibirkstis dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Aistes-LSMU 's 24. Kibirkstis forced 20 Aistes-LSMU turnovers and outrebounded them 56-29 including a 18-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kibirkstis players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Aistes-LSMU 's players. It was a great evening for the former international center Daugile Use (196-1996) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international center Giedre Labuckiene (192-1990) helped adding 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side international swingman Kamile Nacickaite (180-1989, college: Drexel) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Japreece Dean (168-1996, college: UCLA) scored 9 points. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Kibirkstis . Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record. Aistes-LSMU at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost.
