No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedMazeikiai (12-9) beat at home 15th ranked Stekas (5-14) 79-74 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Mazeikiai outrebounded Stekas 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Nickolas Neal (184-1988, college: Purdue-NCent.) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Coltie Young accounted for 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Mazeikiai's coach Marius Kiltinavicius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Haitian center Simeus Webster (203-1999, college: York, NE) came up with 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American point guard Rahsaan Edwards (183, college: Florida Tech) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Stekas in the defeat. Mazeikiai have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 12-9 record. Loser Stekas keeps the fifteenth position with 14 games lost.
