Very expected game in Kaunas where 9th rankedPerkunas (3-7) was crushed by third ranked Tornado KM (9-2) 114-80 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 114-80. Tornado KM forced 23 Perkunas turnovers and outrebounded them 51-37 including a 22-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tornado KM looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Perkunas ' players. The best player for the winners was Kimas Ulanovas who scored 24 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Lukas Lukosiunas chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Tajus Brasevicius produced 31 points and 5 rebounds and Jonas Satas added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with VKM. Perkunas lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost.
