The most important game in the last round took place in Kaunas between second rankedVytis (17-6) and fourteenth ranked Omega-Tauras Vytis was crushed by Omega-Tauras on the road 104-81 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Vytis. Omega-Tauras made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Vytis 34-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. Omega-Tauras shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international point guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-1989) scored 26 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Vytautas Sulskis (201-1988, college: YSU, agency: BIG) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Omega-Tauras' coach Giedrius Kurtinaitis felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Titas Janusevicius (188-2001) responded with 17 points and Gabrielius Celka (198-2001) scored 7 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Four Vytis players scored in double figures. Omega-Tauras moved-up to thirteenth place. Vytis at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Zalgiris II.
