No shocking result in a game in Kaunas where ninth rankedRytas 2 (13-13) defeated 13th ranked Omega-Tauras (10-15) 81-64 on Thursday. Rytas 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Omega-Tauras ' 26. They outrebounded Omega-Tauras 44-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. Rytas 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Omega-Tauras ' players. It was a great evening for guard Ignas Urbonas (198-2007) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. point guard Gantas Krizanauskas (186-2006) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Rytas 2 players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Vytautas Sulskis (201-1988, college: YSU, agency: BIG) with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the former international point guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-1989) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rytas 2 moved-up to eighth place. Loser Omega-Tauras keeps the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Palanga.
