There was a minor upset in Klaipeda where 10th rankedSilute (11-14) was crushed by twelfth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (11-13) 109-68 on Thursday. Neptunas-Akv. shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 63.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Neptunas-Akv. made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for guard Simas Sarakauskas (185-2007) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). point guard Rytis Sakaitis (193-2004) helped adding 11 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Neptunas-Akv. players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Devin Hutchinson (196-1996, college: Radford) with 23 points and 4 assists and swingman Lukas Kazlauskas (188-1992) scored 5 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Neptunas-Akv. . They moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Silute dropped to the twelfth position with 14 games lost.
