Not a big story in a game when 15th rankedStekas (6-18) was outplayed on the road by eleventh ranked Kretinga (12-13) 113-79 on Thursday. Kretinga shot 63.2 percent from the field. Kretinga had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Kretinga looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Stekas ' players. It was a great evening for point guard Mantvydas Staniulis (186-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 15 assists (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). Center Rytis Zabita (199-1994) helped adding 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Kretinga players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Nigerian-American forward John Egbuta (198, college: IUPUI) with 41 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and American-Haitian center Simeus Webster (203-1999, college: York, NE) scored 12 points. Kretinga moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Mazeikiai. Loser Stekas keeps the fifteenth position with 18 games lost.
