No shocking result in a game when fourteenth rankedOmega-Tauras (11-15) edged on the road bottom-ranked Alytus (5-21) 84-81 on Sunday. Omega-Tauras made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Alytus turnovers. The winners were led by the former international point guard Sarunas Vasiliauskas (188-1989) who scored that evening 28 points and 5 assists and forward Tauris Aliukonis (204-2008) supported him with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Omega-Tauras' coach Giedrius Kurtinaitis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by American point guard Robert Waters-Johnson (185-1994, college: Wayland Baptist) did not help to save the game for Alytus . His fellow American import forward Nathan Scott (203-1999, college: EMU, agency: BIG) added 17 points and 4 steals for lost side. Four Alytus players scored in double figures. Omega-Tauras moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Palanga. Loser Alytus stay dead last with 21 lost games.
