Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedVKM-2 (5-7) lost to third ranked Tornado KM (11-2) in Kaunas 73-91 on Tuesday. Tornado KM forced 21 VKM-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 44-28 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tornado KM looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by VKM-2 's players. Forward Tauris Aliukonis (204-2008) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Kimas Ulanovas (188-2008) accounted for 17 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Matas Mikenas came up with 20 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Nojus Barcys added 15 points respectively for VKM-2 in the defeat. Four VKM-2 players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tornado KM . Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with VKM. Loser VKM-2 dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with SKM I.
