U18 League top team -Saule (12-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Zalgiris II (1-12) in Siauliai 90-55 . The game without a history. Saule led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Zalgiris II 's 42. Saule looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Saule made 11 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Rinaldas Kairys (-2008) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Gvidas Markevicius (-2008) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Laurynas Kulpavicius (-2008) answered with 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Ainaras Zvikas added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Zalgiris II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saule have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-1 record. Zalgiris II lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
