An interesting game forNeptunas (10-5) which hosted in Klaipeda 4th placed Lietkabelis (8-7). Third ranked Neptunas managed to get a 10-point victory 97-87 . Neptunas made 31-of-38 charity shots (81.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Lietkabelis turnovers. The former international Donatas Tarolis (205-1994) stepped up and scored 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Latvian guard Rihards Lomazs (189-1996) chipped in 24 points and 6 assists. American guard Michael Flowers (185-1999, college: WSU) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and Canadian forward Fardaws Aimaq (211-1999, college: California) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Neptunas and five Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Neptunas moved-up to second place. Lietkabelis at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Siauliai.
