Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kaunas:Zalgiris II (#11) and Perkunas (#10). Zalgiris II (2-13) won against visiting Perkunas (4-10) 88-84 . It looked good early as Perkunas took a 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zalgiris II took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 4 points. They also forced 19 Perkunas turnovers and outrebounded them 46-34 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Tadas Grazys (178-2008) notched 22 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Aleksas Ketlerius supported him with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Even 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by guard Tajus Brasevicius (186-2008) did not help to save the game for Perkunas . Vytis Sliogeris added 22 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the guests. Zalgiris II maintains eleventh position with 2-13 record. Perkunas lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with ten games lost.
