There was no surprise in Kaunas where 6th rankedTelsiai (17-13) was defeated by third ranked Zalgiris II (20-9) 105-91 . Zalgiris II outrebounded Telsiai 41-23 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zalgiris II players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Ignas Stombergas (198-2008) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). point guard Dominykas Grunkis (164-2007) accounted for 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Zalgiris II's coach Rokas Kondratavicius used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-1991) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Martynas Gecevicius (193-1988) added 15 points respectively for Telsiai in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zalgiris II maintains third place with 20-9 record having seven points less than leader Suduva-Mantinga. Telsiai lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 13 games lost.
