Rather predictable result when eleventh rankedKretinga (15-18) edged on the road 14th ranked Palanga (13-20) 82-80 on Thursday. Canadian guard Jalen Warren (188-1999, college: UIC) nailed 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Mantvydas Staniulis (186-1997) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Kretinga players scored in double figures. American Troy Barnies (201-1989, college: Maine) came up with 14 points and 9 rebounds and center Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-1985, college: Virginia) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Palanga in the defeat. Palanga's coach Erikas Kubilius rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kretinga maintains eleventh place with 15-18 record.
