Bottom-rankedAlytus managed to get a sixth victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses on Thursday night. This time they outleveled eighth-ranked Stekas in Vilnius 83-62 . It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 21-point difference proves that Alytus was well-prepared to that game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Stekas ' 20. They outrebounded Stekas 47-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. Swingman Kristupas Smirnov (194-2006) nailed a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Ronnie DeGray III (198, college: Wichita St., agency: Diamond Sports) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Alytus players scored in double figures. Dominykas Bucas (203-1999) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Robert Subotkevic (203-1998) added 20 points respectively for Stekas in the defeat. Stekas' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Alytus maintains seventeenth place with 6-27 record. Stekas lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 24 games lost.
