Very expected game when 6th rankedSKM II (7-8) was smashed by second ranked VKM (14-2) in Vilniaus 92-55 on Tuesday. The game without a history. VKM led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SKM II 's 30. VKM forced 24 SKM II turnovers and outrebounded them 51-31 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. VKM looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by SKM II 's players. The winners were led by Nikas Janeliauskas (-2008) who scored that evening 9 points and 10 rebounds and Martynas Radzius (-2008) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Even 9 points and 6 rebounds by Ugnius Burdaitis did not help to save the game for SKM II . Kristupas Bauza added 9 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. VKM have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-2 record having just one point less than leader Saule. Loser SKM II dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams.
