Thirteenth-rankedPalanga (14-22) gave a tough game to ninth ranked Neptunas-Akv. (22-15) on Saturday. The visitors from Klaipeda managed to secure only two-point victory 75-73 . However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was guard Dziugas Remeikis (190-2006) who scored 20 points. Guard Kristupas Lesciauskas (191-2005) chipped in 6 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Australian forward Daniel Titus (203-2000, college: Coppin St.) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Paulius Danisevicius (178-1995, agency: BIG) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Palanga players scored in double figures. Neptunas-Akv. have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain ninth place with 22-15 record. Loser Palanga keeps the thirteenth position with 22 games lost. They share it with Omega-Tauras.
