Everything could happen in Vilnius at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh rankedRytas 2 and 6th ranked Telsiai had identical 20-17 record. This time Rytas 2 used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Telsiai 88-65 on Thursday night. They outrebounded Telsiai 34-23 including 19 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Ignas Urbonas (198-2007) who scored 26 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Mantas Liutkevicius (185-2007) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four Rytas 2 players scored in double figures. Rytas 2's coach Gintaras Kadziulis felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-1991) produced 12 points and 5 assists and guard Arunas Rimkus (194-2004, agency: BIG) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Rytas 2 (21-17) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Kedainiai and Vilkaviskis. Loser Telsiai dropped to the seventh position with 18 games lost.
