Rather expected game when 5th ranked Lietkabelis (10-11) lost to second ranked Rytas (13-8) in Vilnius 81-96. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The best for the losing side was Estonian point guard Kristian Kullamaee (193-1999) with 23 points and 4 assists and American guard Jamel Morris (192-1992, college: Fairmont St.) scored 18 points. Rytas maintains second position with 13-8 record having nine points less than leader Zalgiris. Lietkabelis at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. Rytas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Vilnius to the arena.
