There was a small surprise in Vilniaus where eleventh rankedPerkunas (6-12) defeated 9th ranked VKM-2 (7-12) 87-78 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 50-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Perkunas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to VKM-2 's 32 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Perkunas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Vytis Sliogeris stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and guard Tajus Brasevicius (186-2008) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Perkunas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Tomas Vaskevicius with 15 points and 6 rebounds and Benas Riebzda scored 13 points. Perkunas moved-up to tenth place. VKM-2 lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost.
