Very expected game when 9th ranked VKM-2 (7-13) lost to fifth ranked KKM I (12-9) in Klaipeda 63-75 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-63. KKM I forced 22 VKM-2 turnovers. Strangely VKM-2 outrebounded KKM I 44-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Guard Dominykas Agajev (188-2008) notched 13 points and 6 assists to lead the effort and Latvian Kipras Vanagas (-2009) supported him with 17 points. Even a double-double of 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by Lukas Cijunaitis did not help to save the game for VKM-2. Ignas Silanskas added 13 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four VKM-2 players scored in double figures. KKM I have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 12-9 record. VKM-2 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 13 games lost.
