An interesting game forBenfica (7-0) which played road game in Ovar against 3rd placed Ovarense (5-2). Leader Benfica had an easy win 96-70 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ovarense. Ovarense was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Aaron Broussard (196-1990, college: Seattle) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. American-Nigerian center Temidayo Yussuf (201-1996, college: LBSU, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 12 points and 7 rebounds. Five Benfica players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Jackson Stormo (206-1999, college: Siena) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import guard Jay Heath (190-2000, college: Georgetown) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Benfica have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Ovarense at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with Sporting.
