Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedSangalhos (2-11) lost to fifth ranked Lusitania (6-7) in Angra 74-88 on Sunday. Lusitania dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sangalhos ' 36. Lusitania forced 21 Sangalhos turnovers and outrebounded them 48-27 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Nigerian forward Obinna Ugwuakazi (198-2002, college: Charleston, agency: Promo Sport ID) nailed 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Kai Cipalla accounted for 20 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lusitania players scored in double figures. Angolan forward Helder Neto (198-2001) came up with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Jordan McLoyd added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for Sangalhos in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lusitania maintains fifth place with 6-7 record. Loser Sangalhos keep the seventh position with 11 games lost.
