Ploiesti CSM 's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Galati (0-8) 99-94 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 99-94. The winners were led by American point guard Demarkus Stuckey Jr (183-1995, college: Goshen) who scored that evening 26 points and 5 assists and the other American import Daniel Laster (199-1996, college: Gardner-Webb) supported him with 27 points. Even 30 points and 4 steals by American swingman Lamar Morgan (198-1997, college: Coppin St., agency: Helping Ballers) did not help to save the game for Galati . The former international forward Marius Ciotlaus (196-1996, agency: BIG) added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Four Galati players scored in double figures. Galati's coach Florin Nini rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ploiesti CSM (1-6) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place. It was Galati 's eighth loss in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost.
