The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh rankedACS Bucuresti 's (3-4) road victory over 8th ranked Rm Valcea 2 (1-5) in Ramnicu Valcea 77-68 on Sunday. ACS Bucuresti outrebounded Rm Valcea 2 41-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Nigerian center Emmanuel Umoffia (213, college: Queens, NY) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Razvan Ancuta (195-2007) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by center Adrian Sandor (204-2007, agency: One Motive Sports) did not help to save the game for Rm Valcea 2 . Point guard Sebastian-Iulian Boghean (193-2008) added 13 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Four Rm Valcea 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ACS Bucuresti moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ploiesti CSM 2. Rm Valcea 2 lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with CSU Galati and Stars 2012.
