Rather expected game when 15th rankedPloiesti CSM (1-12) was edged at home by twelfth ranked Steaua (6-8) 85-83 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 26-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Steaua made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. Guard Tony Hicks (189-1994, college: Louisville) notched 22 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and forward Justin Gordon (198-1993, college: Wofford) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds.
