Rather predictable result when Ploiesti CSM 2 won against Rm Valcea 2 in Ramnicu Valcea 69-59 on Monday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Center George Angelian (199-2006) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and forward Rares Movileanu (193-2007) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Ploiesti CSM 2 players scored in double figures. Raul Hurdubelea (-2007) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Luca Ciurea (185-2006) added 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks respectively for Rm Valcea 2 in the defeat. Ploiesti CSM 2 will meet at home Sibiu 2 in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rm Valcea 2 will play against Steaua CSA in Bucuresti and hope to secure a win.
