Not a big story in a game when 16th rankedPloiesti CSM (2-20) lost on the road to fourteenth ranked Galati (4-19) 79-75 on Saturday. Galati looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Estonian point guard Gregor Ilves (192-1999) who led the winners and scored 20 points. Serbian center Luka Kovacevic (206-2002) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Four Galati players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Aleksa Jugovic (191-1995, college: Tenn Tech) came up with 21 points and 5 assists and British power forward Jordan Williams (206-1995) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Ploiesti CSM in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Galati maintains fourteenth place with 4-19 record. Ploiesti CSM lost their eighth game in a row. They stay dead last with 20 lost games.
