An interesting game forTargu Mures 2 (9-9) which played road game in Ploiesti against their close opponent Ploiesti CSU (9-9). Fourth ranked Targu Mures 2 managed to get a 11-point victory 76-65 . The game was mostly controlled by Targu Mures 2. Ploiesti CSU was better in fourth quarter 25-23 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Targu Mures 2 brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of David Smeu (-2008) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 assists and Zsolt Szekely (-2008) who added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Cristian Remes (-2006) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and Alexandru Chirila (-2003) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Targu Mures 2 maintains fourth position with 9-9 record, which they share with defeated Ploiesti CSU.
