There was no surprise when 8th rankedCraiova (14-14) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Voluntari (20-8) 107-73 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Voluntari. Craiova managed to win second period 18-17 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Voluntari dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Craiova 's 40. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lewis Sullivan (201-1995, college: UAB, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Kodi Justice (199-1995, college: Arizona St.) who added 18 points during the contest. Five Voluntari players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward David Vida (196-1999) responded with 13 points and the former international point guard Giordan Watson (177-1985, college: CMU) scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Voluntari maintains fourth position with 20-8 record. Craiova lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Timisoara.
