Very predictable result when fourth rankedVoluntari (22-8) smashed at home 9th ranked Timisoara (14-16) 90-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Voluntari. Timisoara managed to win third quarter 22-21 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Voluntari made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Justin Edler-Davis (193-1998, college: CSUB) who scored 29 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The other American import forward Lewis Sullivan (201-1995, college: UAB, agency: BIG) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Voluntari players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Brian Taylor (198-2001, college: CMU) who recorded 20 points and Serbian-Bosnian point guard Nikola Gajic (198-1991, college: SF Austin) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Voluntari have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Valcea. Loser Timisoara keeps the ninth position with 16 games lost.
