Craiova (2-1) recorded its first loss in Bucuresti on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by thirteenth ranked Steaua (1-3) 84-77 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Craiova. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Steaua made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Steaua outrebounded Craiova 34-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. The game was dominated by American players. Four Craiova players scored in double figures. Steaua left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with Timisoara. Craiova at the other side dropped to the fifth position with one game lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
