The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh rankedPloiesti CSM 's (2-3) home victory over 12th ranked Sibiu (1-5) 95-90 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sibiu won fourth quarter 25-15 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Sibiu used huge pressure winning it 25-15 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 6-11 . Ploiesti CSM dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Sibiu 's 32. They outrebounded Sibiu 45-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. Ploiesti CSM looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American DeVante Brooks (198, college: S.Arkansas, agency: Players Group) notched 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Serbian center Veljko Brkic (206-1995) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Even 13 points and 5 assists by American guard MJ Randolph (193-1999, college: FAMU) did not help to save the game for Sibiu . Serbian-Bosnian point guard Filip Adamovic (181-1988, agency: 011 Sports) added 12 points and 4 assists. Five Ploiesti CSM and four Sibiu players scored in double figures. Sibiu's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ploiesti CSM moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Targu Mures. Loser Sibiu dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost.
