Very significant was Valcea's (#7) 28-point road victory against 6th rankedBrasov 93-65 . The game was mostly controlled by Valcea. Brasov was better in second period 25-24 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Valcea dominated on the defensive end, holding Brasov to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They shot 63.0 percent from the field. Serbian center Dimitrije Nikolic (211-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian point guard Munis Tutu (183-1996, college: Carleton, agency: Inception Sports) added 13 points and 7 assists respectively for Brasov in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Valcea (4-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Voluntari. Brasov at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Targu Mures.
