There was no surprise when 5th rankedCraiova 2 (1-6) was crushed on the road by second ranked Targoviste (5-1) 92-62 on Sunday. The game without a history. Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Craiova 2 's 34. Targoviste forced 23 Craiova 2 turnovers. Radu Dumitru scored 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Mario Draghici chipped in 11 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Targoviste players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Gabriel Nasta with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and Casian Draghici scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Targoviste have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Agronomia. Craiova 2 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Ploiesti CSU.
