First defeat of league's leaderPloiesti CSM 2 (4-1) against third ranked Politehnica Iasi (3-3) 75-70 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ploiesti CSM 2. Ploiesti CSM 2 was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Politehnica Iasi forced 19 Ploiesti CSM 2 turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Matei Chelmu who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Stefan Paduraru contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Politehnica Iasi players scored in double figures. Rares Movileanu answered with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Georgian Mihalache added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ploiesti CSM 2. Ploiesti CSM 2's coach Loredana Ion tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Politehnica Iasi have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 3-3 record having just three points less than leader Leii. Ploiesti CSM 2 at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Leii.
