The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss ofLeii (6-1) in Bucuresti on Thursday night. Hosts were edged by Targoviste (6-1) 84-81 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Leii. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Leii trailed by 18 points after 3 quarters before a 31-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 81-84 at the end of the game. Targoviste forced 20 Leii turnovers.
