Not a big story in a game when 6th rankedACS Bucuresti (1-8) was outplayed on the road by third ranked CSU ASE (6-3) 129-78 on Sunday. The game without a history. CSU ASE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to ACS Bucuresti 's 48. CSU ASE forced 21 ACS Bucuresti turnovers and outrebounded them 49-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. CSU ASE looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by ACS Bucuresti 's players. Fabrizio Neagu had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Luca Popovici chipped in 27 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side Luca Arfire responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Sebastian Ciobu scored 7 points and 9 assists. Five CSU ASE and four ACS Bucuresti players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CSU ASE maintains third position with 6-3 record having just three points less than leader Leii, which they share with Sibiu 2. ACS Bucuresti lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Stars 2012.
