The game had a very big importance for second-rankedPloiesti CSM 2 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ploiesti CSM 2 defeated 4th ranked Brasov 2 at home 76-60 . The game was mostly controlled by Ploiesti CSM 2. Brasov 2 managed to win fourth quarter 19-17 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ploiesti CSM 2 forced 22 Brasov 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Georgian Mihalache fired 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Robert Patraru chipped in 20 points and 5 assists. Alexandru Hodorac produced 21 points and Matei Sorodoc added 9 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Agronomia. Brasov 2 lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth place with five games lost.
